Architectural Control

Architectural Control Committee (ACC)

The ACC is responsible for reviewing and approving all requests for proposed construction and improvements on lots within the Lookout Pointes community. This includes, but is not limited to: new home builds; extensions on homes; home exterior renovations; porch, deck, driveway, walkway and patio additions or updates; placement or build of any permanent structure on lot; installation of pools, spas, hot tubs, and fences; and all major landscaping changes including removal of any tree larger than 6” in diameter measured 2’ above ground level.

All homeowners are required to submit project requests to the ACC for review and must receive written ACC approval before the project can begin. Please do not schedule any contractor work until you receive ACC approval for your project. Applications and required documents for your project are available for download at the bottom of this page. If you are unsure if you need ACC approval for a specific project, or have other project questions, then please email the ACC Chairperson at the link below.

ATTENTION FUTURE HOME BUILDERS: Lookout Pointes is no longer approving new home builds in our community with any type of exterior plank or shingle siding including, but not limited to, fiber cement plank/shingle siding, vinyl plank/shingle siding, wood plank/shingle siding, cedar plank/shingle siding, etc. However, you can use this material in a small section of the exterior such as in a gable. The main exterior surface of the home should be brick or stucco. Exterior stone veneer can also be used in gables or a decorative wall section.
